A mother from Ohio was left visibly shaken and traumatized after her husband fatally shot her two children and new partner before taking his own life in front of her.

The incident began when officers were called to the home on Huss Street at around 6:24 p.m., where they found the woman "clearly in a state of shock." The Tiffin Police Department said that the mother of the two kids, aged seven years and seven months, was trying to gather her belongings from the home following domestic issues.

Law enforcement authorities added that the father of the eldest child, 29-year-old Dustin Willey, was helping the mother with the move. On the other hand, her husband and father of the younger child, 42-year-old Ryan Eagon, was thought to have been working out of town.

Investigators then said that evidence suggested that the mother and Willey were inside the house fixing up the remaining items while the two children were outside near a car. Then, the two adults heard the seven-year-old boy cry out, and they went out to find Eagon in the driveway, according to WTAP.

Witnesses told law enforcement officials that Eagon then chased Willey before firing several shots. He then turned his attention to the two children and shot both of them before going back to target the 29-year-old man.

After shooting the three individuals, Eagon reportedly turned the gun on himself and took his own life. Law enforcement authorities and Tiffin Fire and Rescue then took Willey to Tiffin Mercy Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

A Traumatizing Incident

On the other hand, the seven-month-old child was pronounced dead at the home, while the seven-year-old boy was taken to a hospital, where he died. Police officials said that no shots were fired by the responding officers at the scene and that no officers were injured, WLBT reported.

Agents with the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation were later called to the scene of the crime to assist with the ongoing investigation. Police said that, as of Thursday morning, they were still processing evidence and conducting interviews.

So far, police have not yet disclosed a clear motive for the killings, but confirmed that there were ongoing domestic issues and a planned separation between Eagon and the mother. They added that the timeline suggests that the suspect returned home earlier than expected and encountered the family while they were trying to move the belongings, as per Times Now News.
