Apple iPhone Rumors, News & Updates: More Details On iPhone 5se Design

New details surrounding the upcoming iPhone 5se continue to pour; although they currently stand as rumors (let's face it, Apple won't reveal anything this early on), several reports point to the same claims, like its similarities with the iPhone 5s.

Rumors first claimed that the iPhone 5se would adopt the curved design of the iPhone 6 display. But recent reports have revealed that the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5se will have the same body size to the point that cases designed for the iPhone 5s can fit the iPhone 5se.

"The body of the iPhone 5se is said to be similar in size and design to the iPhone 5s, but its display may have slight differences," reports MacRumors. "Rumors suggest the iPhone 5se will have a front glass panel that curves slightly at the edges, similar to the iPhone 6s but not as dramatic."

However, it seems as though the adopted iPhone 6s display design will not push through. An Apple iPhone case maker's design drawings and schematics have been leaked on the Internet, showing that the iPhone 5se design is "nearly identical" to the iPhone 5s.

A 9to5Mac source, who leaked the design, claims that the dimensions of the iPhone 5se "are indistinguishable from the iPhone 5s, meaning that the new device will fit inside of existing iPhone 5s cases."

The iPhone 5se internal features have been given a huge upgrade as well. Although its camera specs remain the same - 8-MP rear camera, 2-MP front camera - the newest upcoming iPhone model is said to likely carry an A9 processor and an M9 motion coprocessor, to name a few.

According to BGR, the iPhone 5se release date is rumored to be on Friday, March 18 following a product unveiling earlier the same week.
