Liam Payne, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini Dating: One Direction Singer Confirms He's Dating 'The X Factor' UK Coach; Fans Can't Handle It

One Direction member Liam Payne just confirmed he is in a relationship with "The X-Factor" judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini through a social media post, and fans aren't happy with it.

The boyband group member recently replaced his profile picture on Instagram with a snap of himself and Fernandez-Versini. Daily Mail reported that the shot appeared to have been taken as the two were on a bed or couch. Payne also changed his profile bio with just one word: Happy.

News about the 22-year-old's romance with the 32-year-old singer surfaced after it was reported that they went on a holiday in Maldives. "They had an amazing trip and it really made them believe they had something special together," a source told The Sun. "Being able to completely unwind away from the world's eye is not something that a member of the biggest boyband in the world and one of the UK's biggest style icons get to do often."

The Guardian reported that Payne also had a new rose tattoo done on his hand to complement the tattoo that Fernandez-Versini has on her back. The couple were also were photographed doing their grocery shopping in Tesco at midnight. It is alleged that they have been dating each other for three months.

Following Payne's profile photo change, fans blasted his new girlfriend on Twitter. "I'll tweet about how much i hate Cheryl until my fingers fall off lmao none of y'all can stop me so miss me," wrote one follower.

"Liam and Cheryl has got to be the most disgusting thing ever im scared of him and i hate her, a couple from hell," said another Twitter fan.

The Mirror reported that Fernandez-Versini is still in the middle of divorcing her ex-husband, restaurateur Jean Bernard Fernandez-Versini. They were together for 19 months before the singing judge publicly announced they were divorcing in January. Fernandez-Versini was also previously married to English footballer Ashley Cole from 2006 to 2010.
