'The Big Bang Theory' Season 9 Spoilers, News & Update: Episode 18 Brings Patents & A Pregnancy

"The Big Bang Theory" season 9 is definitely heating things up. The show's next episode, entitled "The Application Deterioration," brings a big opportunity for Leonard (Johnny Galecki), Sheldon (Jim Parsons), and Raj (Kunal Nayyar) as they try to patent their ideas.

"The boys will want to patent their idea and Sheldon is going to start drawing up a contract where they will split their share three ways," says "The Big Bang Theory" episode 18 press release via Hollywood Hills.

Not only that, but Penny (Kaley Cuoco), Amy (Mayim Bialik) and Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) are preoccupied with something equally - if not more - important than the patent: Bernadette's morning sickness.

Meanwhile, Raj will get a surprise when he hears from Emily and Claire, reports EconoTimes. No details have yet been released regarding this information, which could bring some good or bad news for Raj.

But the biggest news for "The Big Bang Theory" season 9 episode 18 could be the possibility of Sheldon asking Amy's hand in marriage.

As it turns out, Penny and Leonard have been working on making their marriage better just to make the proposal happen - and could this episode finally bring that to the table?
