Bobby Brown, who is now married to Alicia Etheredge, has a long history of substance abuse. Recent reports surfaced suggesting that Bobby Brown may have gone on this recent relapse in connection with the death anniversaries of Whitney Houston and Bobbi Kristina.

According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Bobby Brown returned to rehab to get help for his addiction to cocaine, heroin and alcohol. Just a few days ago, news broke out that Bobby Brown and wife Alicia Etheredge are going to have their third child.

The media outlet points out that either peripherally or integrally, the death anniversaries of Whitney Houston and Bobbi Kristina may somehow have a connection to Bobby Brown's latest rehab stint. Celeb Dirty Laundry suggests that Bobby Brown may have been marking these two events related to Whitney Houston and Bobbi Kristina.

Six-time Grammy winner Whitney Houston died under unclear circumstances in February 2012. Whitney Houston was found lifeless in the bathtub of her Beverly Hills hotel room. The coroner's findings stated cocaine use, heart disease and accidental drowning as the cause of Whitney Houston's death. Whitney Houston was survived by her only child with Bobby Brown, Bobbi Kristina.

Bobbi Kristina Brown, on the other hand, died three years shy of Whitney Houston's death in January 2015. Bobbi Kristina was found unconscious in the bathtub of her home in Georgia. Stories about Bobbi Kristina suffering from substance abuse made the rounds. These were, however, uncorroborated.

At the time of Whitney Houston's death, Bobby Brown was supposedly seven years into being free from drugs and alcohol. Yet a few months after Whitney Houston's death Bobby Brown was arrested and charged for drunk driving in LA. Bobby Brown was thereafter required to go into a rehab program for 18 months.

According to the New York Daily News, a lawyer to Bobby Brown refused to confirm that Brown is under substance abuse treatment. The lawyer denied that Bobby Brown is being treated for alcohol and cocaine abuse. He did confirm, though, that Bobby Brown will follow through on his scheduled performance. Bobby Brown will be in South Carolina on March 4.
