Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Reflective Print Release & Price Details: New Designs Ready For Spring

Converse has unveiled its latest Chuck Taylor All Star Reflective Print collection. The new designs, which come with bright light reflecting graphics, is set to hit store shelves in the spring.

The newest Chucks, which are part of the Chuck II iteration, have been reinvented with a style that appeals to millennials. While the brand kept its signature stars and camouflage prints, what's interesting is that all of the shoes in the collection pops up when the lights are on.

The kicks are made with Nike Lunar Lon sock liners and also fitted with nonslip padded tongues and micro suede lining, per The Boom Box. Converse is obviously going for both comfort and trend with these new designs.

Ask Men cites that the All Star Reflective Print keeps the form, built and design of the Chuck Taylor classics, but it's the light reflective feature that makes it standout from its predecessors. The shoes are geared for the urban fashion forward individual who loves all the attention.

"We were inspired by our consumers and being able to further enhance their creative and active lifestyles," said product director Ryan Case, per Mashable. "We've given our consumers a sneaker that provokes personal style while enhancing visibility in low light, enabling them to do more of what they enjoy throughout the day or night."

The Chuck Taylor All Star Reflective Print collection comes in both lo and hi-top form, with price points set at $80 and $85. Sneaker heads can grab the merchandise at stores beginning March 3 for the camo designs, but the star designs will still be released in April, per High Snobiety.

The Chuck II is only a year old, but it's already generating buzz and sales. Converse started developing the shoes and its materials in 2014, with the idea of adding the reflective feature in the designs. "Consumers are jamming through the city all day, riding bikes, skateboarding," said Converse's Damion Silver, via National Post. "Reflection adds that useful element."
