'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' Season 3 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Midseason Premiere Trailer Shows Inhumans Everywhere

ABC just released a brand new trailer for the midseason premiere of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." that will be shown on March 8. The trailer shows a huge number of Inhumans threatening the world order.

Screenrant reports that the midseason of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." will give the team a new motivation to conquer crucial missions as Inhumans gain in number. The trailer starts off with the President (William Sadler) asking help from Coulson (Clark Greg) to combat the growing number.

The trailer shows Coulson and his team fighting off Inhumans and negotiating with the government that may indicate their growing role in the society. This means the team would have to face new and old enemies alike.

More so, there are also clips of villains that are expected to dominate the upcoming episodes of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." There's Hive (Brett Dalton), Hydra's secret weapon, the inhuman slaughtering Lash (Matthew Willig) and a new inhuman force who is able to kill just by using his eyes. He was able to knock off Hunter (Nick Blood) using his eyes, International Business Times added.

IBT takes note of Slingshot's power in the new "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." trailer as well. Slingshot is one of the new characters who will join Daisy (Chloe Bennet) and the Secret Warrior Team. As she gets more screentime, her flash-like ability is emphasized in the new trailer.

The official synopsis of the mid-season premiere states that Coulson has renewed purpose to capture Gideon Malick and to ultimately finish Hydra. Meanwhile, Daisy and other members confront more Inhumans with unknown powers. Faced with a new enemy, the team is uncertain how to defeat Hydra and the powerful Grant Ward/Hive.

Additionally, the team struggles to find more Inhumans to create a team of secret warriors that is tasked to protect powered people, the synopsis narrates. The S.H.I.E.L.D. continues to face opposing public opinions about defending the society from extreme groups of Inhumans. There's the constant battle between protecting Inhumans and destroying them.

The midseason premiere promises action-packed scenes as the Secret Warriors becomes official and Ward undergoes another character metamorphosis. "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." will return on Tuesday, March 8, 2016. It will be aired at 9 p.m. EST on ABC. Check out the new midseason trailer below:
