'Assassin's Creed' Movie Release Date, News & Update: Second Film Already Being Discussed; Michael Fassbender On Board With Second Film

The success of the video game "Assassin's Creed" has been a  multitude with numerous installments of it being produced and sold in the market. Now, more good news has come to the big fans of "Assassin's Creed" after, not too long ago, news came out that there will be a live action adaptation of the video game starring Michael Fassbender. This news alone about a live action "Assassin's Creed" got numerous fans giddy but what happens if news came out that already the "Assassin's Creed" production team is already thinking of the second film?

According to Tracking Board, Michael Fassbender is willing to be on board the second "Assassin's Creed" film as well as many of the key production partners of film. Already, there are talks about the new plot for the second "Assassin's Creed" film.

"That the studio is already laying the groundwork for the sequel is hardly surprising, given the international appeal of both the game and its star, Fassbender," Tracking Board reported. "But skeptics of video game-based films may interpret this move as a sign of confidence from those involved that, unlike previous attempts to bring popular video game properties to the big screen, Assassin's Creed could not only work--but thrive."

However, many people are doubting the "Assassin's Creed" film at being good since numerous films inspired from video games have been mediocre and unsuccessful. Some films, including "Tomb Raider" and "Resident Evil," have had magnanimous success and these got numerous installments. The question left is, will "Assassins Creed" be one of those mediocre film or a successful one?

There is no doubt that Ubisoft is fully supportive about the "Assassin's Creed" film adaptation, promising to help the production team as much as possible. Also, the actors and actresses cast in the "Assassin's Creed" film adaptation have very big names, so it is likely that the "Assassin's Creed" story line or script is quite good.
