'X-Men: Apocalypse' Release Date, Cast, Plot & Update: Alexandra Shipp Reveals How Apocalypse Recruits Her Character; Fans Will See a 'Messed Up' Storm

Many are excited for the next adventures of the mutant superheroes. In less than three months now, fans will witness the new adventures of "X-Men" in "X-Men: Apocalypse."

So, what can fans expect in the film?

Several details about the anticipated film already leaked online. New reports highlight Storm as Alexandra Shipp disclosed juicy details about her character.

Shipp is among the new characters who join "X-Men: Apocalypse." She will be playing the younger version of Storm, the character first made popular by Halle Berry in the "X-Men" franchise.

However, the young actress revealed that fans will be seeing the other side of Storm in the upcoming film. "X-Men: Apocalypse" will feature disturb and messed up Storm. Cinema Blend reported earlier that the character is bad and troubled, and Shipp confirmed this.

"It's like, she's kind of just all really messed up and the only mutants that she knows are bad mutants," Shipp told Collider. "The only mutants that she knows are the mutants who use their powers for stealing, or protecting thugs or whatever.

Per Shipp, Storm lost her parents in a plane crash and grew up devoid of love and care. She has gone through a lot of pain and everyone will see her struggles in "X-Men: Apocalypse."

Thus, when she met Apocalypse, she found a refuge. For the first time in her life, there was someone who guarantees to help her. "Then this extremely powerful being comes to her and says, 'I'm what you've been waiting for, I will take care of you.' For her, that's like, click."

Shipp also revealed that all the four equestrians have gone through difficult times. They are powerful but were reduced to a street urchin. Their greatness was overlooked and they too did not notice it. For this reason, when the supervillain approached them it touched their soul and they were convinced.

"X-Men; Apocalypse" will hit the big screens on May 27, 2016.
