'I'm Not Your Friend' Cast News & Updates: Matt LeBlanc's New Comedy Nabs Jenna Fischer - 5 Things About This Show

The comedy series "I'm Not Your Friend" is slowly taking shape as CBS announced the addition of Jenna Fischer in the cast. The actress will play the wife of "Friends" alum Matt LeBlanc.

Variety reports that Fischer's character is named Andi, who decides that she would like to go back to work as a lab technician while her husband, Adam (LeBlanc), takes over housework. Adam is a contractor who realizes how hard it is to raise kids and keep a home, especially when your spouse is out working.

Here are five more things you should know about the comedy series.

1) "I'm Not Your Friend" is not yet the show's official title and it's billed in the industry as the "untitled LeBlanc/Filgos" comedy pilot, per Deadline. LeBlanc is also the producer of the show, apart from its star, while Filgos is for the tandem of Jeff & Jackie Filgos who wrote the show's premise. Longtime director James Burrows is also attached to this project.

2) LeBlanc and Fischer both starred in the Must-See-TV Thursday lineups for NBC in the past decade. LeBlanc was on "Friends," while Fischer was on "The Office." Both shows were huge Emmy-winning hits.

3) The new comedy has also cast Grace Kaufman, 13, as Andi and Adam's oldest child, per St. Louis Post Dispatch. It also has Matt Cook in the cast as one of the dads at the kids' school.

4) While pilot productions are not yet a done deal, there's a good chance this multi-camera show will get a series commitment from the producers. If so, the series will be in the 2016-2017 TV slate for CBS.

5) LeBlanc and Fischer have to finish work in other productions before their new show starts filming. LeBlanc is in the new "Top Gear" series, while Fischer has a recurring role on "The Mysteries of Laura."
