Celebrity Moms: "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" star Mama June Shannon Discharged From Hospital After Collapsing

Mama June Shannon of "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" fame showed off a smile of comfort outside an Atlanta house on Monday. The was the first glimpse of the 36-year-old mother since her overnight hospital stay on Wednesday.

The 36-year-old mother-of-four collapsed while trudging down the stairs in her home in Georgia on Wednesday and was quickly brought to the hospital. Mama June shared in her Twitter account that she was already released at the hospital and now recovering from the incident.

A source told Entertainment Tonight that June repossessed consciousness after her fall, but ended up passing out several more times. June's daughter, Lauryn aka "Pumpkin" was always at her side while Mama June underwent blood tests and a CT scan. The source stated that she hasn't been herself lately, adding that Mama June has been dieting really hard to the point that she hasn't been eating three meals a day. 

Mama June, who recently came back on the spotlight on WE tv's Marriage Boot Camp (MBC) with her estranged husband, Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson, will also appear on E!'s Botched to remove excess skin following the weight loss. Sources blamed Mama June's 'hard dieting' and not eating meals for her health scare and last month she claimed to have lost 150 pounds due to diet and exercise. 

In spite of her weight loss, Mama June Shannon still looks like she has the same size and weight as when she made her launch on TLC's "Toddlers and Tiaras" in 2012. Mama June recently broke up with her on-and-off partner Mike 'Sugar Bear' Thompson, who is the father of her 10-year-old daughter Alana, aka Honey Boo Boo.

Mama June Shannon and Mike, who met online in 2004, never really got married. Although they did have a commitment ceremony in 2013. June's four daughters, Jessica, Anna, Lauryn and Alana all have dissimilar fathers.

After the series' four seasons, TLC cancelled Shanon's series Here Comes Honey Boo Boo in 2014 following reports that she had been connected with a guilty child molester named Mark McDaniel. A complete season's worth of episodes which could possibly fill six months of schedule were left unaired.
