'Game of Thrones' Season 6 Air Date, Cast, Plot & Update: Kit Harington Finally Confirms Return to 'GoT'; Will Return As a Corpse

When "Game of Thrones" Season 5 ended with Jon Snow bleeding and dying on the ground after being betrayed by his men, there was an endless talk if Kit Harington's character will return in Season 6.

Snow is Ned Stark's bastard son. He is among the favorite character in HBO's hit series "Game of Thrones." That is why many were disheartened by his death.

In a past interview with Entertainment Weekly, Harington revealed that his character is dead when prompted if Snow is really dead. He admitted that he had a discussion with the showrunners Dan Weiss and David Benioff about it.

"Look, you're gone, it's done," the showrunners told him.

Harington also shared his thoughts about the salary of the "Game of Thrones" cast that made headlines earlier. He was still in the cast listing and denied that it was accurate.

"As far as the salary thing goes, that angered me when that story came out. I don't know where it came from, but it was inaccurate in many ways," Harington explained.

The actor stressed that he has no idea about the future of "Game of Thrones" but his knowledge that Snow is dead is what the management told him.

"If anything in the future is not like that, then I don't know about it - it's only in David and Dan and George's heads. But I've been told I'm dead. I'm dead. I'm not coming back next season. So that's all I can tell you, really."

In a recent interview with Harington, he talks about his role in "Game of Thrones" Season 6. He admitted that he will return, but his character remains dead.

"I filmed some scenes of me being dead - it's some of my best work," Harington told Time. "I know how long I'm a corpse for, but I can't tell you that!"

Meanwhile, Natalie Dormer, who plays Margaery Tyrell in "Game of Thrones" hinted the possibility that Snow will resurrect when asked about the death of the character. "Jon Snow is dead right now," she said per Express. Many believe that the last two words mean something more.
