Daredevil' Season 2 Spoilers, News and Updates: Images Reveal Costumes of the Punisher and Elektra

The new "Daredevil" Season 2 teasers have finally arrived. The promotional trailer and images reveal Daredevil and Elektra's costume as well as a first glimpse of the Punisher's final costume.

Netflix and Marvel Entertainment recently released new trailer and poster for the next season of "Daredevil." The poster shows the Punisher donning his signature skull costume. The new promotional image for "Daredevil" Season 2 offers another look at the show’s most anticipated characters: Punisher (Jon Bernthal) and Elektra (Elodie Young). Marvel Cinematic Universe has dominated the realm of costume designs although they may have tweaked it a little bit to make it look more realistic, especially in their Netflix shows.

Screen Rant describes Daredevil’s costume to resemble what he wore at the finale episode of "Daredevil" Season 1. However, the website notes that it may appear redder in the teaser posters. This could be a result of an actual change in the color of the costume or just an effect used on the image.

Meanwhile, Punisher won’t disappoint fans as he is clearly seen wearing his iconic skull logo. He will definitely put on the popular ensemble at some point in the next season. More so, he is also seen wearing his long dark trench coat that is also featured in the comics and the first modern movie adaptation of the character.

Advertisements for "Daredevil" often avoid showing Elektra in full costume. However, this recent promotional image reveals what could be the final costume of the character. Although obscured partially by how Elektra stood, the costume looks like a cross between the comic version and the movie version worn by Jennifer Garner in the 2003 "Daredevil" movie. Screen Rant noted that Elektra’s lack of bandanna and the traditional bare thighs were covered by dark pants/leggings.
