Samsung Galaxy S7, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge News & Updates: How to Get a Free Samsung Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 Edge

Consumers who are looking to get a free Samsung Galaxy S7 or Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge can now celebrate as several carriers will offer such deals. T-Mobile and AT&T announced that for a limited time, they will offer new-generation Samsung Galaxy phones for free.

Seeing a carrier offer a flagship smartphone for free is not very common. To offer an expensive, brand-new smartphone for free is certainly a bold move. According to Fortune, T-Mobile announced Wednesday a special deal for a limited time. Consumers buying one Samsung Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 Edge will get a second Galaxy S7 model of their choice for free.

T-Mobile explained that customers won't need to buy an identical Galaxy S7 so they can get two of either model or a Galaxy S7 and then a Galaxy S7 Edge. In case consumers buy two Galaxy S7 devices, the mobile carrier company offers two more at no charge.

The freebie deal is offered by T-Mobile for a limited time, but it's unclear yet when the company would end the program. The special deal is offered in monthly installments. In order to benefit of the offer, customers are required to sign a 24-month installment agreement.

According to BGR, AT&T is also offering a "buy one take one" deal that allows receiving free Samsung Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 Edge. The carrier announced this week that new and existing subscribers are eligible for the offer.

The offer applies to customers who purchase one handset, add a new line and use an AT&T Next plan. The second free flagship Samsung phone will be activated on the new line. The terms of the offer are explained on a post published on AT&T's blog.

Samsung's Galaxy S7 line goes on sale on Friday. The launch of the flagship next-generation smartphones is one of the most anticipated this year.

Both Samsung Galaxy S7 line models come with a metal design. Galaxy S7 features a 5.1-inch screen while Galaxy S7 Edge features a 5.5-inch screen. The devices has improved performance and an always-on display function. The Edge model provides additional software functions on either side, thanks to its curved screen design.
