'Destiny' Patch News & Update: New 'Hotfix' Released By Bungie; Update 2.1.1.3 Introduces Crucible Changes

One of the biggest and highly-acclaimed video games in the market today is "Destiny" and there is no question as to why it is one of the biggest video games. The success comes from the fact that it has one of the most exciting game plays there is a video game can offer.

To keep that excitement going, numerous patches and updates have been deployed by the game developers of "Destiny." In fact, Bungie and just recently they have announced a new hotfix for "Destiny", the update is 2.1.1.3.

The new update for "Destiny," which is 2.1.1.3 will change the matchmaking tendencies of the game. "Destiny" 2.1.1.2 Update will introduce Crucible changes in the game that enables matchmaking algorithms to prioritize connection over anything else. The new update for "Destiny" will not be just exclusively for the matchmaking algorithms of the video game but it will also enable the "Damage Referee" for all of the Crucible players of "Destiny."

It was previously explained by Bungie what a "Damage Referee" meant in "Destiny" and, according to the company, it improves the overall matchmaking experience of "Destiny" by "handling things that can go wrong when you're playing games online." There will also be some more good news coming soon for all "Destiny" players as it was announced by Bungie that there will be a large expansion this year, plus a full sequel this coming 2017 for "Destiny." There will also be more updates coming this spring that introduces a Light increase, new PvE challenges and more gear for "Destiny" players to use. There are also more to come, according to Bungie.

The update for "Destiny" this spring will be discussed more during a "Ride Along" live stream event by Bungie.
