'Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice': Man of Steel May Not Know About Kryptonite?

Fans are making up their own theories on how Batman could fight Superman in the highly anticipated film "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice." One intriguing prospect is Superman's ignorance about kryptonite.

Fans can't wait to see the onscreen battle of impressive proportions on "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice." However, many feel that it isn't fair for someone like the Dark Knight to fight the god-like Man of Steel. According to Screen Rant, director Zack Snyder and the movie cast have been tight-lipped on how the fight will turn out. But any Superman fan would know, there's one way Batman can take the upper hand, through kryptonite.

Screen Rant pointed out the absence of the radioactive green mineral in "Man of Steel" in 2013. The website is certain that it will be present in the upcoming "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice." Batman may use this to take advantage of Superman. A recent interview of Henry Cavill with Entertainment Weekly may support this theory.

In an indirect reference to kryptonite, the actor was quoted saying, "I think the most difficult thing for him at this stage of the story is that he has just come to terms with the fact that he is really, really quite powerful and he hasn't found any major vulnerabilities yet, and despite this, despite the enormous power that he has, he still cannot do everything, and he really struggles with that."

Based on Cavill's statement, it seems that the Man of Steel has more than one weakness. There's kryptonite that weakens him physically and there's the psychological torture of being too powerful.

Focusing on the kryptonite, Bruce Wayne can make use of this to further weaken Kal-El. In fact, in the last scene in the final "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" trailer, Batman can be seen easily blocking Superman's punch. Rumors say that Batman may be using kryptonite, astonishing the other.
