'Final Fantasy 15' News & Updates: Game's Official Website Promises 'Key Surprises'

Square Enix plans to reveal the next installment of the "Final Fantasy" game series at a special event called "Uncovered: Final Fantasy 15." The game developer studio announced that at the event planned for March 30, it will reveal "key surprises" about the upcoming game.

According to Neuro Gadget, "Uncovered: Final Fantasy 15" will be held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, on March 30, at 7 p.m. PT/10 p.m. ET. This means that fans of the "Final Fantasy" franchise will finally learn the release date of the next iteration, "Final Fantasy 15." The event has been announced at the end of January and it will be hosted by Tim Gettys and Greg Miller of the "Kinda Funny" video show.

Tickets for the March 30 "Uncovered: Final Fantasy 15" event have sold out almost immediately. The event will be also available on live stream on YouTube and Twitch.

It is expected that "Uncovered: Final Fantasy 15" will be much more than just a simple release date announcement. If the event is worthy of an auditorium and live stream, perhaps, Square Enix has big plans for the "Uncovered: Final Fantasy 15" show. Just a simple release date alone wouldn't deserve that much.

The official website of the event features a countdown running and promises "key surprises." The mention of "surprises" is exciting for fans of the "Final Fantasy" franchise, and rumors are running high in expectation for the March 30 event.

It is expected that the event will last about one or two hours. Speculations suggest that with this much build-up, fans may expect to see a sooner release date than what is. A new gameplay update from what was originally seen in the Episode Duscae demo is also rumored to be showcased at the event.
