'Captain America: Civil War' News & Updates: New Trailer Reveals Spider-Man

The latest "Captain America: Civil War" trailer reveals the newest iteration of Spider-Man. The popular superhero will appear in Marvel's "Captain America" movie franchise. The character's appearance is connected to a solo Spider-Man film, which will be co-produced by Sony's Amy Pascal.

Fans have waited anxiously for Marvel to reveal the new trailer of "Captain America: Civil War" this summer. As we already know from the previous trailer, the superhero battle will oppose two sides of superheroes.

When the government decides to regulate and control the Avengers, Iron Man agrees to regulation. However, due to Hydra's infiltration of S.H.I.E.L.D., Captain America is now distrustful of government agencies and refuses to follow the rules. The fight happens when the superheroes choose sides.

The first "Captain America: Civil War" trailer primarily hints and did not really establish what sets off the conflict between the two sides of Avengers. All these characters have had some minor conflicts in the past but were able to overcome them and become good friends. According to Forbes, Marvel gives more explanation about the conflict between Iron Man and Captain America in the latest trailer.

In the midst of superheroes' conflict, Spider-Man shows up. According to Geek, the new costume of the familiar character has provoked mixed reactions. Some appreciated the Silver Age-inspired design while for others, the suit looks like a candy-coated mess.

In 2002, the first major on-screen costume from Sam Raimi's first Spider-Man film features the superhero's logo on the front and some web patterns embedded in the fabric. The red-and-blue fabric itself was detailed to define the muscle suit below and was printed with a faint hexagonal pattern.

What might make the current Spider-Man look a little weird this time is the fact that most of the Spider-Man suits were designed for the screen to showcase texture. The current suit's texture looks more like a computer-generated, fake sparkle.
