Ashley Jones News: 'The Young and the Restless' Star Expecting A Baby Boy

Ashley Jones is expecting her first child with her husband Joel Hendricks. "The Young and the Restless" star confirmed to a news magazine on Friday that they are excited to welcome their baby boy into the world.

The 39-year-old soap opera actress told People that it has been her lifelong dream to become a mom and she feels so surreal that it's happening to her right now. Ashley Jones added that she and Joel can't wait to meet their little baby boy.

The baby will be Ashley's first little bundle of joy. On the other hand, Henricks' three-and-a-half-year-old son, Huck, can't wait for his little brother to come out. Jones helped take care of Henricks' son, which exposed her to what it's like being a mom. However, Ashley notes that the newborn stage will be a totally different experience than taking care of a toddler.

The former "The Bold and the Beautiful" star shared to the publication that she met Huck when he was only 2 years old. They were together during his potty training days and also practice sleep training together.

Ashley further gushed that Huck asked every now and then if the baby is still in her tummy. Jones even joked saying that Joel Hendrick's son even asked the same question all over again, while he reminds her that her tummy is getting bigger.

According to Soap Shows, Ashley Jones is still busy shooting her daytime drama while waiting for her little boy. "The Wedding Ringer" actress shares that she was actually still taping "General Hospital."

Jones really loved to work during her pregnancy. In fact, Ashley continued to share that they began taping early December of last year and not informed about the length of the storyline.

The drama will be air on March 22 and that will be her next appearance on "General Hospital." Ashley Jones will also be appearing in the movie, "Good After Bad," later this year.
