Amazon News: Miley Cyrus Brings Back 'Hannah Montana' Look For Woody Allen TV Series

Miley Cyrus was spotted sporting a familiar look, giving glimpses of a "Hannah Montana" vibe in Westchester, New York on Friday. As it turns out, Liam Hemsworth's alleged fiancée was wearing a blonde wig (minus the blunt bangs) on the set of Woody Allen's first TV series with Amazon.

Miley Cyrus hasn't sported this look for a long while now. According to Entertainment Tonight, the "Wrecking Ball" singer hasn't sported this look since August 2012, when she cut her locks for a "pixie cut."

The "We Can't Stop" singer also donned some baggy clothes while filming. Dressed in a red printed and rainbow-fringed poncho and green pants, Miley was seen filming a scene at the backyard of a house, as reported by E! News.

Sources claim that the "rural set was small and quiet," having spotted only a 30-man crew and two cast members: Miley Cyrus and John Magaro of "The Big Short" fame. Although details about the show's plot are still under wraps, Magaro's character could possibly be a love interest.

An eyewitness claimed that during filming, Miley Cyrus was seen picking daises while sitting on a sun dial. The "Bangerz" singer was then spotted being approached by John Magaro, who invited her to go on a walk in the woods.

Cyrus has been known for her hippie-like fashion choices and lifestyle, a factor that probably prompted Woody Allen to cast Miley Cyrus on the Amazon show. Apparently, Miley's hippie personality is a perfect fit for the series, which is set in the 1960s.

The six 30-minute episode series will also star Elaine May, whom Allen has previously worked with on "Small Time Crooks." As per Deadline, Woody Allen wrote all the scripts for the series and will serve as a director as well.

Stay tuned for more news on Woody Allen's upcoming Amazon TV series starring Miley Cyrus, Elaine May and John Magaro. In the meantime, feel free to relive Miley Cyrus' "Hannah Montana" days in the video below.
