Bobbi Kristina News and Update: Nick Gordon's Stand on the Autopsy

After the autopsy of Bobbi Kristina Brown was made public, legal representatives of Nick Gordon released a statement saying to stop the allegations. In fact, Nick Gordon tried to save Bobbi Kristina Brown despite repeated accusations by her family.

An official statement was released by Nick Gordon's legal team after the Fulton County District Attorney's office announced the official cause of death of Bobbi Kristina Brown. According to the autopsy report, Bobbi Kristina died from drowning and intoxication, per Enstarz. Bobbi Kristina's family insisted that Nick Gordon was responsible for rendering Bobbi Kristina unconscious by giving her a "toxic" drink. However, accusations against Nick Gordon were found baseless.

Nick Gordon's legal team noted that Gordon has lived a disturbed life after Bobbi Kristina's death -- a scenario that is both unfair to him and Bobbi Kristina's fans. By depriving the truth, Nick Gordon has suffered more than anyone. Nick Gordon and Bobbi Kristina were not given the justice and peace they both deserve.

"The truth is that Nick tried to save Bobbi Kristina's life. The truth is that Nick cooperated with law enforcement since day one," the statement goes as quoted by Yahoo News. "The truth is that no one loved Bobbi Kristina more than Nick and no one has suffered more as a result of her death than Nick."

US Weekly says that Joe Habachy and Jose Baez noted how the District Attorney's Office was involved in making Nick Gordon look guilty. They made all efforts to conceal the real cause of Bobbi Kristina's death. Now that the autopsy report is out, Joe Habachy and Jose Baez is asking the District Attorney's Office to admit that Bobbi Kristina's death was an accident.

On Jan. 31, 2015, Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive in her home and was in a coma for months before dying in hospice care. Traces of alcohol, morphine and other drugs were found in her system, per the autopsy report.

According to County Superior Court Judge Henry Newkirk, the District Attorney's Office had ample time to present evidence of any foul play but failed to do so. Joe Habachy and Jose Baez encouraged the public to let Nick Gordon live normally and give Bobbi Kristina Brown the peace she deserves.
