Eddie Redmayne is Color Blind; How Wife Hannah Bagshawe Helps Him Avoid Fashion Faux Pas

The  World’s Best Dressed man, Eddie Redmayne, is apparently color blind. However, he has someone special who helps him pick his stylish outfits – his wife, Hannah Bagshawe.

Eddie Redmayne shared upon picking up the award for being the best dressed man in the world that he has a very wonderful stylist in the form of his wife.

“I’m color blind, so occasionally I’ll go for things that are slightly outlandish and she’ll temper me back into the world of taste,” Eddie Redmayne said in a report by Mirror.

Eddie Redmayne added that it is great being an actor and having to join events with brilliant people who work at fashion houses with excellent taste who guide him in the right direction. The 34-year-old said that he could not take much credit for knowing how to dress well.

Mail Online wrote that news of Eddie Redmayne being color blind surfaced just a few days after Eddie Redmayne and his pregnant wife were spotted spending time together shopping in Los Angeles, California early in March 2016. The two wore outfits that complimented each other. Eddie Redmayne wore a plaid shirt and dark jeans, while Hannah had a woolen navy cover up and a blue and navy striped top beneath.

At red carpet events, Eddie Redmayne was also seen wearing a plaid suit with navy blue tie and a maroon suit. Most likely, these flashy but fashionable tones were selected by Hannah for him. The actor also shared that he is fond of painting despite his condition.

Eddie Redmayne has been highly successful as an actor in the past two years. He won in Best Actor in a Leading Role at the 2015 Oscars for his role as Stephen Hawking in “The Theory of Everything.” In 2016, he was nominated again for Best Actor in “The Danish Girl,” but bowed to Leonardo DiCaprio. Even before the 2016 Oscars, Eddie Redmayne shared that he felt that DiCaprio would win the award. He added that it was the greatest honor to have been nominated again. He still feels great about winning the award last year.
