Here’s What Ben Affleck Has To Say To Ex-Wife Jennifer Garner’s ‘Tell-All’ Interview About Divorce

Following their shocking divorce last year, ex-couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are back under the spotlight. The reason? Garner has recently confessed in a "tell-all" interview with Vanity Fair that she was heartbroken after her 10-year marriage led to divorce.

In Vanity Fair's March issue, Jennifer Garner revealed how she felt when her marriage with ex-husband Ben Affleck collapsed. But despite what happened, the 43-year-old "Miracles from Heaven" actress stressed that it was a "real marriage."

"It was a real marriage," she said, as per Daily Mail. "It wasn't for the cameras. And it was a huge priority for me to stay in it. And that did not work."

Garner has also urged her fans not to hate ex-hubby Ben Affleck. She also emphasized that she's taking good care of herself.

"I didn't marry the big fat movie star; I married him," she said. "And I would go back and remake that decision. I ran down the beach to him, and I would again. You can't have these three babies and so much of what we had."

"He's the love of my life," Garner continued. "What am I going to do about that? He's the most brilliant person in any room, the most charismatic, the most generous. He's just a complicated guy. I always say, 'When his sun shines on you, you feel it.' But when the sun is shining elsewhere, it's cold. He can cast quite a shadow.'"

Ben Affleck, on the other hand, has only nice words to say to his ex-wife Jennifer Garner. The 43-year-old "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" star even explained why his ex-wife decided to confess their failed marriage in a "tell-all" interview, E! News noted.

"Jen's great. She's a great person," Affleck told New York Times. "We're on great terms. I just saw her this morning, so that's the reality that I live in."

"She felt like she wanted to discuss it and get it out there and get it over with," he added. "So she could say, 'Look, I already talked about it-I don't want to do it again. It's fine. She's allowed to talk about it."

Meanwhile, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are still trying their best efforts to remain amicable with each other for their children. In fact, Garner and their children - 10-year-old Violet, 7-year-old Seraphina and 4-year-old Sam are set visit Affleck in Europe while he films, "Justice League," People has learned.
