Barclay's Premier League Update: Who Will Win the Golden Boot? Leicester, Tottenham Fighting for Top Honors

The battle for the prestigious Barclays Premier League title is ongoing and there are two teams whose names are emerging to win the top honors. Leicester and Tottenham are in a close fight over the European Golden Shoe.

The ex-Scottish football manager of Manchester United, Sir Alex Ferguson, gives his support to the Leicester. Sir Alex Ferguson predicts that Leicester will win the Barclays Premier League with three more extra games, according to Daily Mail.

Leicester will be beyond the reach before their battle with the Manchester United in the Old Trafford on May 1, but that is if Sir Alex Ferguson's speculation will come true. To recall, Sir Alex Ferguson earned a number of success with 13 league titles at the Old Trafford, Greater Manchester, England in his time.

However, Sir Alex Ferguson wins was a mixture of his love for horse racing, which simply means that he perfectly know how to pick a victor. Tottenham, on the other hand, have faced major defeat as they didn't have a prepared strategy during unexpected circumstances.

After West Ham seriously got in the way more than what Tottenham expected, they evidently dealt with the opponent with difficulty. Tottenham found it hard to play from side to side and to perform direct balls up to Kane, because unfortunately, he was too cut off to grasp the ball up, per Telegraph.

Meanwhile, in order to pursue their aim to win the Premier League title, Leicester faced the Newcastle United on Monday. Newcastle United is currently managed by Rafa Benitez, who is Sir Alex Ferguson's former foe.

And as Leicester defeated Newcastle United, they now extend their lead at the top of the Barclays Premier League to five points, BBC Sport added. Hence, Sir Alex Ferguson's prediction might do come true.
