'Elder Scrolls 6' Release Date: Bethesda Hints that Title Is Not Arriving Anytime Soon

For gamers who are very excited to get their hands on "Elder Scrolls 6," this may disappoint you. According to new reports, the anticipated title is not coming anytime soon.

Parent Herald previously reported that "Elder Scrolls 6" would be unveiled at E3 2016. Unfortunately, despite this report, the game will not be playable in the next few months.

There is no doubt that many are excited for the new iteration of "Elder Scrolls" although it is still possible that Bethesda will announce the game this year it's arrival is not guaranteed.

According to Christian Today, it may still take time for gamers to enjoy "Elder Scrolls 6."

Todd Howard, Bethesda Game Studios executive producer reveals crucial information about their upcoming games. At the DICE conference Todd hinted that they are working on three big and crazy projects, GameIndustry.biz reported.

"We actually have three kinds of longer term projects we're doing that are all - we'll talk about them at a future date - but they're different than anything we've done before while also being a Bethesda-style game," he said.

However, in a recent interview with GamesIndustry.biz, he corrected himself and admitted that he should not have uttered any number.

"I should have never said a number because we have so many things. You could add it up in different ways. You could say it's bigger or smaller. They're a long way off," Howard said. "I think the larger point was, no one should expect to hear about those [games] anytime soon."

He explained that Bethesda has overlap projects and they have more going on now than they had before. They have a growing studio and he believes that the company has a good footing.

Since Bethesda has several projects, it's also possible that when Howard said gamers should not expect "those games anytime soon" he meant some other games and not "Elder Scrolls 6." He did not mention any title, so whether it includes "Elder Scrolls 6" or not, that is something that we should watch out for.
