New Leaked Photos Reveal 'iPhone 7 Pro'? Apple To Feature OIS Dual Lens Camera, 3D Touch & More

The iPhone 7 Pro will reportedly release in September 2016 together with the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The powerful flagship phone is said to feature a 5.5-inch display, an OIS dual lens camera and 3D touch, among others.

MacRumors stated that new leaked photos showed what is alleged to be the iPhone 7 Pro. The images were presented by online leakster Steve Hemmerstofer, also known as OnLeaks. The iPhone 7 is expected to feature Touch ID, Apple Pay, 3D Touch, and a possible OIS camera (which was not present in the iPhone 6S). The iPhone 7 Plus is expected to feature Touch ID, Apple Pay, 3D Touch, OIS but no dual lens camera. Finally, the iPhone 7 Pro is the most powerful in the group with all of the following, including OIS dual lens camera.

Forbes noted that the potential real image of the iPhone 7 Plus was first spotted on Bastille Post, a Chinese website. One of the most notable change is the dual-lens camera, appearing as a protruding part shaped like a pill. Users are still debating whether the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will feature dual cameras.

The dual lens camera also comes with a microphone and LED flash. Leading to the base of the iPhone 7 Plus are three dots that seem to be for a Smart Connector, which is a new feature that debuted on the iPad Pro. It is expected to come out on the iPhone 7 Pro as well.

There is a high possibility that the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus will feature a dual lens camera. The appearance and feel of the iPhone 7 Plus chassis in the leaked photo is quite similar to the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s, which includes a unibody aluminum, volume buttons shaped like a pill, a side-facing power button and a mute switch. There are also rumors that the 3.5mm headphone jack will be replaced by the all-in-one Lightning connector for charging, connecting accessories and audio output.

If the iPhone 7 Pro does launch, it will have a number of upgrades compared to the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.
