Paris Jackson is back under the spotlight again as she recently shared a poignant tribute to late dad Michael Jackson on Instagram. Additionally, the 17-year-old daughter of the King of Pop was also spotted sporting a spiked platinum blonde hairdo in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles on Tuesday.
Ever since her father's untimely death in June 2009, Paris Jackson and her siblings have been under intense media scrutiny. As a matter of fact, Paris has become a constant target of suicide and pregnancy rumors in the past few years.
Today, Paris Jackson is back making headlines after she was spotted getting cozy with a new mystery man during an outing in the City of Angels. The recent sighting came just a couple of months after her reported breakup with boyfriend Chester Castellaw in January.
During the recent sighting on Tuesday, Paris Jackson was an epitome of a true rock chick when she was seen wearing a pair of ripped boyfriend jeans and a black band vest top. But what was really interesting was when Paris cozied up to a mystery male pal at Sprinkles Cupcakes café.
While Paris Jackson was seen with two male companions, Daily Mail noted that she photographed "gently touching" one of them. And even though Paris' relationship with her male friend was uncertain, their actions seemed to suggest that they're really close.
Paris Jackson's recent sighting came after it was reported earlier this month that she is preparing to launch a career in Hollywood. Rumors have it that she has been meeting with Leonardo DiCaprio's manager Rick Yorn to help her enter the entertainment scene, Radar Online reported.
Paris Jackson has been reportedly planning to do acting and modelling gigs for several years now. In fact, she had already met almost three years ago but things didn't work out during that time, especially when Paris moved to Utah to seek treatment after her suicide attempt.
Paris Jackson's recent behavior, however, has become a cause of concern for her family. According to International Business Times, the change in her attitude began after her breakup with Chester Castellaw in January.
"Katherine and Joe both told her she is not to smoke any more cigarettes, but she is not listening," an insider close to the family said. "She told them it is her life and she is going to do what she wants. Paris [Jackson's] family are extremely worried about her right now, but they are actually just allowing her to continue smoking right now because they are so afraid of her shutting them out even more."
Meanwhile, Paris Jackson has recently posted a tribute to her father Michael on Instagram over the weekend. The Instagram post was a photo of her in front of a still shot of her dad from "Bad" music video and was captioned with the word, "archangel," as per Teen Vogue.
Despite the scrutiny and negativity she faces in her teenage life, Paris Jackson is currently transitioning with incredible grace as she prepares to celebrate her first milestone 18th birthday on Apr. 3.
