'The Walking Dead' Air Date, News & Update: Negan's Introduction to be the Greatest Ever

The most awaited episode of "The Walking Dead" Season 6, "Something to Fear," will mark the debut of Rick and co's newest villain. And as many fans are waiting for his debut, it has been said that Negan will have the greatest introduction ever.

In an interview with Lennie James, who plays the role of Morgan Jones, the 50-year-old star teases the arrival of Negan played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan in "The Walking Dead." Lennie James said that the launch of Negan's character on television will be "phenomenal."

According to Movie Pilot, Lennie James first cleared that the writing about Negan is, indeed, extraordinary. "Secondly, it is one of the greatest introductions of a character that I can remember in any television series, let alone in our television series," Lennie James said.

Lennie James, too, is excited for Negan's appearance as fans of "The Walking Dead's" first glimpse of the Big Bad will be out of the ordinary. Steven Yeun, on the other hand, also has something to say about Negan's coming.

In another interview, Steven Yeun talked about Negan's introduction in "The Walking Dead." Negan is the most-awaited character arriving in "The Walking Dead," per Screen Rant.

In spite of being the villain, who might kill Steven Yeun's role as Glenn Rhee, his arrival is still expected to be "awesome." In the comics, Negan slayed Glenn Rhee with his wire-covered baseball bat, Lucille. However, according to Steven Yeun, they don't necessarily have to follow "The Walking Dead's" comic story.

Steven Yeun explains that "The Walking Dead's" television adaptation has its own narrative that divides the story flow between TV and comics. Also, "The Walking Dead" creator, Robert Kirkman, hinted that Negan's introduction will be like an "atomic bomb."

Hence, from Robert Kirkman's own words, "The Walking Dead" will never be the same once Negan arrives. "The Walking Dead" Season 6's next episode, "Twice as Far," will be aired on March 20.
