'The Flash' Season 2 Spoilers, News & Update: Carlos Valdes Teases About Vibe and Reverb's Fate; Jay and Silent Bob Will Appear in the Show

Many are looking forward to seeing the return of "The Flash." "The Flash" Season 2 is currently on hiatus, but for fans who want to learn more about the show, here's the latest scoop we have.

Carlos Valdes teases about his role in "The Flash" Season 2. Valdes plays as Cisco Roman aka Vibe. He has a doppelganger named Reverb who is stronger and far more powerful than him. Reverb works for Zoom, who later killed him, International Business Times reported.

Valdes revealed that Cisco has fears that he will turn into his evil doppelganger. "Cisco has a deep fear of the power becoming Vibe could have, [and we'll be] covering that in upcoming episodes, Valdes said.

"The Flash" executive producer Aaron Helbing revealed that Reverb's presence will somehow affect Cisco.

"I feel like once you're exposed to something that's possible - it's like the first time Tony Hawk did a 720 on the skateboard, everyone could do it. Now that Cisco has seen the magnitude of what his powers are capable of, everything's possible in his mind," he told ComicBook.

When asked if Reverb will return, Helbing said, "It's The Flash, so they might show up again in one form or another. But I think for the purpose of where we want to take Cisco, having [Reverb] die there was sort of the best way of doing what we wanted to do with his character," Helbing added.

Valdes also revealed that it was freeing to portray the role of Reverb. When asked if Cisco will show up as Vibe in "The Flash" Season 2 finale, the actor just said, "hopes so."

Meanwhile, MoviePilot noted that Jay and Silent Bob might appear in "The Flash." Kevin Smith confirmed their potential appearance in "The Flash" in a tweet where he wrote, "Today is Day 3 of 8 on my episode of @CW_TheFlash! Went for coffee at #CCJitters & found losers loitering outside... "

Smith will be directing an episode in "The Flash" Season 2. Thus, it is not unlikely for the stoner duo to appear in the Smith-directed episode of "The Flash" Season 2.
