Miles Scott, aka Batkid, will rescue a woman from cable car tracks and capture the evil Riddler as he robs a downtown bank. A flash mob will gather to cheer him on as they witness the evil Penguin kidnap the San Francisco Giants mascot, Lou Seal, and Mike will go to the rescue. Following this, Miles will head over to the City Hall where San Francisco mayor Ed Lee will present him with a key to the city as thousands will gather to cheer him on.

About 12,000 people have signed up to help make the boy's fantasy of being a caped crusader come true, largely due to his story going viral online. Volunteers who will partake in the largest Make-a-Wish Foundation flash mob will cheer on the pint-size champion as he saves a damsel in distress.

"We knew a superhero wish would be really cool, but it's kind of surreal to see what's happened," said Patricia Wilson, executive director of the Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area chapter. "Receiving a wish is a life-transforming experience for any child, and it's apparently the case for everyone who wants to be involved in this wish."

Miles, who lives in Tulelake in Northern California, was diagnosed with leukemia when he was 18 months old. The boy has undergone several treatments which ended in June and is now in remission, according to the Associated Press.
