The body aches and pains that a person have may bring discomfort. Most people ignored minor aches and pains. On the other hand, these could be signs of underlying issues. There are body aches and pains that you should not ignore for these may lead to the certain health condition.

WebMD and Prevention share the following symptoms of aches and pains that you must check out:

1.   Chest Pain

Chest pain can be a sign of heart attack or heart disease or have a blood clot in your lungs. "Any chest pain, especially accompanied by something, pressure, shortness of breath or nausea, should be evaluated by a medical professional right away," Shilpi Agarwal, MD, from One Medical group in Washington D.C. said.

2.  Pains at your back and on your sides

The symptoms of kidney stones are having blood in your urine and pains at your back and on your sides. You have to see your doctor immediately especially if it is accompanied by fever.

3.  Numbness in your face, leg or arm

If your face, leg or arm gets weak or numb, you might be having a stroke. Other symptoms of stroke are feeling dizzy and cannot walk properly. You must see a doctor immediately or call 911. You may also take a clot-buster drug within 4 ½ hours to lessen the risk of having the long-term disability from stroke.

4.  Pain in the back of your lower leg

If you feel pain at the back of your lower leg when you stand or walk and there is swelling too there might be a blood clot in your leg. "If you flex your toes upward and its hurts, that's also suggestive of a blood clot," Teitelbaum said. "But don't rely on that. If it's hot, red and swollen on one side, go to the ER."

5.   Pelvic Pain

"Even if it's just vague pain, it's not supposed to hurt down there," Julian Schlink, chief of women's health for Spectrum Health Medical group. This pain sharp or dull must be checked out immediately.
