Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have never admitted their relationship, but the pair remains to be among the favorite items in tabloids and publications. According to new reports, Holmes and Foxx are already engaged.

Radar Online reported that in 2013, Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes were an item. The publication noted that recently, Katie Holmes was spotted wearing a ring, that reportedly belong to Jamie Foxx's grandmother.

While there are engagement rumors swirling around Foxx and Holmes, others believe that the pair is already married. Per Hollywood Life, Jamie Foxx is also spotted wearing a gold band around the same time Katie Holmes has gotten the cameras.

The report noted that Katie Holmes was first spotted with the said ring on Jan. 8 for a formal event. However, it is unlikely for Holmes to be wearing it for a special occasion only because the last time she was spotted wearing the gold band, she was only wearing a casual look. The "All We Had" star was only wearing jeans, a canvas and a trench coat with a flannel shirt underneath a messy bun, suggesting that the said ring was part of her everyday get up.

Although many are convinced that Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx are an item for over two years, no one confirmed their relationship. In fact, Foxx's representative denied the engagement and wedding rumors, suggesting that Holme's ring was not even a promise ring and definitely not from Foxx.

Despite the statement released by Jamie Foxx's rep, many still believe about the Foxx-Holmes romance. According to Inquisitr, the pair decides to keep their relationship a secret because they are afraid of Katie Holme's ex-husband, Tom Cruise.

Cruise might act out if Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes admit their relationship on public and he might assert more control over their daughter, Suri. "She's afraid that he'll be angry that Suri will have a new father figure and come crashing back into her and Suri's lives," the insider said,
