'Scandal' Season 5 Spoilers, News & Update: Mellie Will Seek Olivia's Help To Clean Her Mess And Inadequancies; Olivia Warns Jake About Their Competition

The upcoming episodes of "Scandals" season 5 will be filled with twists, surprises and drama, so fans should stick with the show. According to news reports, there will be chaos in the White House.

As Christian Post reported, the previous "Scandal" season 5 episode teased the upcoming struggles and challenges that the characters are about to face. There is no doubt that the next episodes of "Scandal" season 5 will be filled with drama.

Mellie (Bellamy Young) made a huge mistake that will likely pull her presidential campaign down. Per the report, the upcoming episode of "Scandal" season 5, titled, "Pencils Down" will feature her inadequacies. The character will keep on making poor choices. In once "Scandal" season 5 scenes, she revealed her campaign plans to Hollis Doyle (Gregg Henry), which convinced many as another wrong decision that could potentially give her more problems in the future.

Everything will be a mess, so Mellie will turn to Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) for help. Christian Today reported that Olivia would help Mellie before things get out of her hand. However, aside from helping the presidential aspirant, Olivia will be busy with something else.

According to the report, Olivia has been looking after Jake and she will use the tried and tested old trick to threaten him. In one "Scandal" season 5 promo trailer, Jake and Olivia were in their makeout session when she paused and said, "Whatever this game is, I will win."

The report notes that Olivia is aware that Jake is putting up something with his fiancée and the Gladiators will find this out in the upcoming episode of "Scandal" season 5. In fact, the team will learn the new woman in Jake's life, which could be their lead to learning about Jake's entire plan.

Susan Ross will also do her own investigation to learn David's other woman. Another scene in the "Scandal" season 5 promo trailer features the presidentiable confronting her boyfriend. David is in trouble after failing to end what he and Liz put up in their scheming.
