How To Treat Snoring: Check Out This Recipe For Snoring And Sleep Apnea

There are various medical applications known to treat sleep apnea or simply known as snoring. However, you can actually whip up some home-made remedy that can treat snoring as well: a carrot apple ginger juice with lemon.

According to David Wolfe, about 45 percent of adults are found to occasionally snore. The main cause of snoring is the excess mucus, blocking the airway through your nose. The nasal passage could be blocked due to congestion and allergies.

Sleep apnea, meanwhile, is a chronic condition that is characterized by having one or more pauses in breathing while you sleep, as defined by NIH. Shallow breaths or breathing pauses can last as long as 30 minutes. This leads to poor quality of sleep.

There's also a recent report done by Collective Evolution that suggests a link between sleep apnea and cancer growth. The lack of oxygen in the body increases blood vessel growth in tumors. People who suffer from sleep apnea usually lack oxygen due to breathing pauses.

So for the study, the researchers analyzed a group of mice with kidney tumors. They were divided into two groups: the control group and experimental group. The experimental group's oxygen was reduced, stimulating intermittent hypoxia. Hypoxia is the state where the body has an insufficient amount of oxygen. The experimental group was found to promote growth tumor in their bodies.

While there are certain medical measures to prevent sleep apnea, there are certain types of food that you could avoid lessening the snoring. These foods will reduce the mucus build-up that narrows your air passage. Additionally, eating a heavy meal and smoking can also lead to more snoring. Try to avoid the following foods especially in the evening:

Dairy Products

Chocolate

Fried Food

Processed Food

Flour-based or Sugar-based Product

Excessive Alcohol

And just a few hours from bed, you can whip up this effective concoction to eliminate excess mucus. So this powerful juice recipe can actually help you reduce snoring. Juicing fruits and vegetable locks in the nutrients giving you the maximum nutrients that you need.
