'League of Legends' Release Date, News & Update: Patch 6.6 Notes Revealed; Update Will Be Released On March 23

For "League of Legends" fans and gamers, here's great news for you. The details for the upcoming "League of Legends" patch 6.6 update are out and the update will be available today. Isn't that exciting?

J Station X reported that per Riot Games the "League of Legends" patch 6.6 would be out in Mar. 23, 2016. For those anticipating for the update, here's the North American server maintenance notice for the anticipated patch:

"On 03/23/16, starting at, 01:30 Pacific Time (08:30 UTC), ranked queues will be disabled in preparation for patch 6.6. At 03:00 Pacific time (10:00 UTC), the servers will be shut down and all games currently in progress will end in a draw and stats will not be recorded. We estimate the battlegrounds will be unavailable for 3 hours"

The report added that EUW servers will be down at 5 a.m. UK time while the EUNE servers will go down at 3 a.m. CET.

Attack of the Fanboy reported that the "League of Legends" update will come with a new champion named "Aurelion Sol, The Star Forger." It will also include tons of April Fools skin styles.
