'NightCry' Release Date, News & Update: 'Clock Tower' Successor Will Hit PCs on March 29; New Game Trailer Released

For gamers who love to play horror games, another game is on the way that will surely bring terror, fear, excitement and fun. According to reports, "NightCry" will be arriving next week.

Based on "NightCry's" Steam, the game is set on a cruise ship. The gamer will be joining the cruise of a lifetime that he will never ever forget. The cruise ship appears normal with luxurious surroundings and friendly guests. At first look, everything appears to be what it should be until one by one the guests and crew turn up dead. Guests start to panic and suspect one another.

CinemaBlend reported that a new "NightCry" trailer is out. The title has been in development for a while and finally it will soon be hitting the PCs. The report likened the newest "NightCry" footage to the 1999 version of "Silent Hill" and early version of "Resident Evil" and "Fatal Frame."

The "NightCry" players will have to control Monica, who is stuck on the cruise ship and help her survive while the Scissorwalker stalks and kills passenger. The Scissorwalker is a terrifying villain that seems to materialize from one's worst nightmare. So, playing "NightCry" will be dreadful and scary but definitely, fun.

As Siliconera  puts it, "NightCry" is a point-and-click horror game. The players have to hide to avoid the killer. One has to find the clues and determine what's going on to escape from the dreading fate that awaits him in the cruise liner.

"NightCry" is the sequel to "Clock Tower." The game will be out for the PC version in Mar. 29, 2016 4:00 p.m. Japan time per Nude Maker. Gematsu reported that "NightCry" would be available on Playism and Steam.
