'Star Trek Beyond' Cast, Spoilers News & Update: Zoe Saldana Teases About Her Costume; 'Star Trek' Celebrates 50th Anniversary With Art Exhibit

One of the anticipated film this year is "Star Trek Beyond." As we near the film's release date, the "Star Trek" hype continues to grow. One of the "Star Trek Beyond" stars shares juicy details about her costume in the upcoming film.

The "Avatar" star, Zoe Saldana revealed that Uhura's redesigned costume in "Star Trek Beyond" sports longer sleeves but it has the same stripes as what was featured in Nichelle Nichols' costume in the original "Star Trek" 1960s series. Check out Saldana's costume in "Star Trek Beyond" below.

"I do have my stripes, just like each and every crew member on the ship. I'm very happy about that," Saldana told Yahoo! Movies. She added that the dress is still short and the sleeves are the only ones that got longer.

"It's still short. I'm like, 'Are you kidding me?' But you know what. I just had twins and the fact that I'm able to wear this little dress seven months later, I'm grateful!" Saldana explained.

"Star Trek Beyond" is the third installment of the rebooted franchise. As the name "Beyond" suggests, the film will pay tribute to the hit 60's series. "I think it has this kind of throwback flavor," said Chris Pine, who plays Captain Kirk in the film told Entertainmet Tonight.

"The film itself is kind of tribute enough," Pine added. "Leonard was a special, special man. I think his spirit has been infused in this incarnation from the beginning, from the first film. We miss him dearly. We wish he could be a part of this, but we know he's in a good place."

Meanwhile, "Star Trek" is celebrating its 50th anniversary and they are holding an art exhibit to commemorate the iconic sci-fi series. The art exhibit will have a world debut at San Diego Comic-Con later this year, 9 News reported.

The exhibit curated by CBS Products will include an original piece of artwork by Andy Warhol that features a Vulcan salute in multiple colors. Leonard Nimoy, who played the popular Vulcan science officer also appears in some artworks.

"Star Trek Beyond" will hit the big screens on July 22.
