'Yeezy Boost 550' Release Date, News & Update: Black Colorway Surfaces, Production Underway?

Apparently, Kanye West’s current sneakers are always making noise. A rumored new model, the Yeezy Boost 550, is said to be existing, with some people proving that it does.

While West’s Yeezy Season 3 fashion show featured a lot of Yeezy gear and apparel to be excited about, Yeezy Boost footwear on display were the ones that fans wanted, reports GQ. More than that, a new running-style Yeezy model, believed to be the Yeezy Boost 550, that West kept wearing the past weeks keep people thinking.

The shoe appears to be a slightly modified or tweaked version of the Yeezy Boost 350, with the suede patch taken out and on the lateral side a bright orange colored stripe has been added.

Recently, a black colorway of the still to-be-released sneakers has surfaced, thanks to one of West’s friends. A$AP Bari, one of the dancers during West’s performance in SNL, posted a photo of the shoe on the internet.

Kicks On Fire notes that this could be what many believe to be the Yeezy Boost 750 in black. It shows some resemblance to the Yeezy Boost 350, and comes with a Primeknit upper and Boost sole, all in black. The only difference is that it has a translucent midsole and a higher ankle.

Before the black colorway surfaced, another Yeezy Boost 550 in white also appeared on the internet, courtesy of West’s friend French Montana, who bragged that the shoe will never come to full production.

While some might think that Adidas has lined the Yeezy Boost 550 for production because West and his two friends have already revealed it, it’s still too early to say. But if ever the shoe company does go and puts the Yeezy Boost 550 into production, it’s going to be another shoe that the public will go crazy about.

Just prepare some cash, and it might be sold for high prices like other Yeezy Boost models.
