Lindsay Lohan News & Update: 'Mean Girls' Star's London Boyfriend Not As Rich As Reports Say

Lindsay Lohan dating Egor Tarabasov generated a lot of positive news about the reformed "Mean Girls" star and her London businessman beau. However, some reports color Lindsay Lohan and Egor Tarabasov hooking up with a bit more devious tone.

While news have surfaced that Egor Tarabasov is a very generous boyfriend to Lindsay Lohan, no other layer seems to be hidden behind the happy relationship. Some reports suggested that Egor Tarabasov is a billionaire or similar and Lindsay Lohan hooked up with him to finance her film projects. The truth appears to be much farther than these suppositions about Lindsay Lohan and Egor Tarabasov.

Page Six clarifies that while Egor Tarabasov is a successful businessman, who is the director of London property firm Home House Estates, he is not a business mogul just yet. He does receive a generous allowance from his wealthy father Dmitry Tarabasov, but what wealth Egor Tarabasov has is all still in trust fund.

This does not seem to take away, however, from the joy that Lindsay Lohan and her family has over her relationship with Egor Tarabasov. The media outlet said that Michael Lohan, father of Lindsay Lohan, expressed his admiration for Egor Tarabasov saying that the young man actually possesses wisdom that is impressive for one so young. In fact Lindsay Lohan is seven years older han Egor Tarabasov. "He's not a good influence, he's a great influence," Michael Lohan said.

Lindsay Lohan has been living in London for over a year now after working on "Speed-the-Plow." Egor Tarabasov actually met Lindsay Lohan in October last year. The two had been dating since. A separate story by Parent Herald reports that Lindsay Lohan introduced Egor Tarabasov to her family last Christmas.

The Daily Mail reports that Lindsay Lohan and Egor Tarabasov moved in together recently. Lindsay Lohan, herself, expressed how much she had changed.

As Parent Herald reports Lindsay Lohan shares how she has moved away from her old party image. "The people who I used to hang out with are waking up at 5 a.m. -- now I wake up at 9 a.m.," Lindsay Lohan said. Despite lacking the rumored bankroll, Egor Tarabasov does seem to have much more to offer Lindsay Lohan.
