'Daredevil' Season 2 Recap, Spoilers, News & Update: Premiere Season Was A Bang; Two Vigilantes Will Join Forces Against Daredevil?

The first season of "Daredevil" was a huge hit. Thus, there is no doubt that many are looking forward to its return in the small screens. "Daredevil" season 2 just premiered and for those who missed it, here's a short recap.

"Daredevil" season 2 premieres with its first episode titled, "Bang." The opening episode of the second season is indeed a bang as it showcased the cold threats in Hell's Kitchen following the arrival of Frank Castle a.k.a The Punisher.

Per A.V. Club, the new character is terrifying. The Punisher made his presence felt in an Irish shootout. Then Daredevil finds Mexican cartel members dangling from meat hooks. Following this event, he finally appeared in a hospital shootout. The scene was like a horror movie when it featured Karen and Grotto trying their best to escapee from the ruthless killer.

The report notes that The Punisher is the same threat as the criminals he killed because he puts fears among the innocent people while he pursues his vigilante mission.

The first episode of "Daredevil" season 2 ended with the first encounter of Daredevil and The Punisher. The two characters engaged in a rooftop fight, which is a great reminder to the audience that the best part of the show would be its action sequences and fans will see more of these in the upcoming "Daredevil" season 2 episodes.

Meanwhile, aside from The Punisher, Daredevil's former flame, Elektra Natchios will return in Hell's Kitchen. Per The Morning Bulletin, Elektra's manipulative and cunning personality will be both toxic and enticing to Matt. He will soon find himself struggling to choose between his friends and the city he loves to save.

"Daredevil" season 2 will not single out one villain unlike what it did in "Daredevil" season 1. The Punisher and Elektra will make Matt Murdock's life more miserable and challenging. They will push him and his team (Foggy Nelson and Karen Page) to their moral limits.

"Daredevil" season 2 provides more complex layering and better action and story.
