'Suits' Season 6 Spoilers: Mike Will Still Be In Service Even Behind Bars?

The next episode of "Suits" Season 6 will feature Mike (Patrick J. Adams) behind bars after he surrenders himself for a two-year sentence to keep the people around him away from jail. Although the "Suits" lead star will be in jail, he will not be idle.

Parent Herald previously reported that "Suits" Season 6 would pick up where the last episode left off. Although it would also be appealing to see Mike immediately out of prison in a two-year time jump, the production thought that it's best to have "Suits" Season 6 pick where it left off.

As for what Mike will do behind bars in "Suits" Season 6 given that he will be in jail for a while, showrunner and creator Aaron Korsh disclosed that the character will not be getting a law degree. The production is focusing on something else.

"The topic of what happens to him in prison is not in large measure him getting his law degree," Korsh told The Hollywood Reporter. "That's not what we're focusing on, and we're trying to do something a little different and unexpected. But that's not the focus of Mike's journey in prison. It's more about him surviving and then he has a turn. There are a few twists and turns. But he's not a jailhouse lawyer, so to speak."

But there are chances that Mike will use his knowledge in jail. When asked if Mike will help wrongfully convicted inmates with his legal expertise in "Suits" Season 6, Adams' response was affirmative.

"To me, Mike always wants to be in service of something. He's got a good heart, and he's got a good moral code," Adams said. "I think somehow he's going to have to find somebody that he's in service to and some way that he can be helping people. I'd be interested to see how that happens in prison."
