'Attack on Titan' Adds Online Co-op and More to Game -- Details

Koei Tecmo has released some important info regarding the recent March 24 game update for "Attack on TItan." See the details below.

Various additions to the “Attack of Titan” game came by way of the updates, reports Gematsu. The updates are sure to enhance playing and add some more tweaks that players will surely like. Here's the list of updates from Koei Tecmo (via 4gamer):

"Investigation Outside the Wall Mode"  A newly added online co-op play, where up to four players on the same console version can play the game together.

Special Models Added – At the “Camp” that you have access to before heading out to battle, you’ll now be able to decorate models of Titans that you have previously defeated. These models can be used as trophies to brag or show off in the “Online Camp.”

Soldier Proficiency Cap Expansion and Original Skill Addition – One new original skill has been added to each of the game’s 10 playable characters.

"Hard" Difficulty Mode Added – “Hard” is now a difficulty option in addition to “Easy” and “Normal.”

“Shin Shingeki Mode” Request Rewards Added – More rewards have been added for completing requests in the super difficult “Shin Shingeki Mode.”

Information Indicators Added to Battlefield Allies – During battle, you can see the details on screen for your maximum of four allies.

Equipment Reinforcement Max Increased – The maximum that equipment can be reinforced has been increased.

Material Rarity Indication Added – Rarity is now displayed for the materials required to develop and modify equipment.

Battle Balance Adjusted – Adjustments have been made to the balance of battle.

Ability to Develop Equipment While Procuring Materials Added – You can now develop equipment while out procuring materials.

“Attack on Titan” was released on Feb. 18, 2016 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita consoles in Japan. It will be launched in North America and Europe sometime this year.
