Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton Having a Baby? Here's What The No Doubt Singer Said About A Gay Son

Gwen Stefani revealed in a recent interview that she would feel "blessed" about having a gay son. The former No Doubt frontwoman has always been an open and supportive mother to her two sons, Kingston, 9 and Zuma, 7. She is currently in a relationship with her former "The Voice" co-judge Blake Shelton.

"I would be blessed with a gay son," Stefani told PrideSource in an interview. "You know that I would feel blessed about that. I just want my boys to be happy and healthy, and I just ask God to guide me every day to be a good mother because it is not an easy job."

There have been rumors that Stefani is pregnant with Shelton's baby just after the country singer's split with ex-wife Miranda Lambert last year. Inquisitr reports that a tabloid ran a front page story regarding the rumor. However, the rumor is not true.

Additionally, Gwen Stefani revealed that she has no qualms about having a gay son because she has her own posse of gay friends, which includes her hairdresser and makeup artist whom she considers her closest friends. Stefani's gay besties have been really supportive of her ever since her divorce with her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale.

In case one of her sons would come out in the future, Stefani has planned ahead by asking her gay friends about their childhood. Entertainment Tonight notes that Stefani has openly allowed her sons to do whatever they want including giving her kids manicures. She reiterates that her sons not conforming to gender stereotypes don't "bother" her.

"As long as my boys are protected and happy and I'm spending quality time with them, whether it's doing sports or doing nails, it really doesn't matter," Stefani explained. Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have also been open about their current relationship, which started late last year following their respective divorces.
