Former Italian international Fabio Cannavaro thinks that the Juventus' squad is superior to that of Napoli. He also added that the reigning champions will succeed to defend their Series A title.

Following a 20-game unbeaten league run, Juventus are three points clear of Napoli at the top of FIFA 2016 soccer teams. According to Four Four Two, as it seeks a fifth consecutive Scudetto, Juventus beat their title rivals 1-0.

During his career, Fabio Cannavaro played for both Juventus and Napoli. According to Cannavaro, in the title race for Series A, the strength in depth of Juventus' squad will make the difference.

The former Italian international adds that he considers Juventus as superior to Napoli because it is a "stronger squad overall." For all the games they have played in Europa League, Coppa Italia and Serie A, Napoli have paid the price "with pretty much the same starting XI."

According to Cannavaro, Juventus can still make it to the finals of the Coppa Italia while affording to play their reserves. On the other hand, Napoli cannot reach a consistent high level while rotating the team players.

After the international break, Massimiliano Allegri's team Juventus will resume Series A action at home against Empoli. Napoli's squad is preparing for a trip to Udinese.

Meanwhile, rumors claim that Juventus will keep Mario Lemina around a little longer. According to Black White Read All Over, many international breaks involve fantasy rather than fact.

The publication Football Italia reports that Lemina will essentially keep the same kind of conditions as his current deal. For Juventus, this is a season-long loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.

Evaluating the 22-year-old midfielder hasn't been an easy task. Due to his limited playing and lengthy injury absence, Mario Lemina has been prevented from regular playing time.

For this reason, it is difficult to evaluate whether making the deal permanent is a good investment for Juventus. With Juventus only three points ahead of Napoli, the opportunities for playing time for Mario Lemina may be hard to come.
