'Supergirl' Season 2 Spoilers, News & Update: Series In Danger Of Cancellation? CBS Renews 11 Shows 'Supergirl' Not One Of Them

A lot of times, even with a big following a TV show has always got the chance to be sacked from the network and that means cutting off the TV show even before it could end. One of the more famous hacked TV show after its first season is "Firefly," which saddened a lot of the fans.

Recently, CBS announced the list of shows that will have a renewed season and one of the most-talked about series, "Supergirl," is not part of it and the reason for this remains unknown.

It might seem like "Supergirl" might get cut off early but it is unlikely since there are also numerous brand new shows from CBS that has not yet been given the greenlight for a new season including "Limitless," "Life In Pieces," "CSI: Cyber," "Code Black," and their latest series, "Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders." So, it might be that the approval for this shows will come in later. The shows, on the other hand, that has been renewed for a new season are "Blue Bloods," "Hawaii Five-O," "Elementary Scorpion," "Madam Secretary," "NCIS: Los Angeles" and "NCIS: New Orleans."

Comedy shows from CBS including "Mom," "2 Broke Girls" and "The Big Bang Theory" have also been picked up for a new season. The last two shows from CBS that have been greenlighted for another season are "Survivor" and "The Amazing Race."

There is no need to worry about "Supergirl" the show has been doing very well in their rating as well as their following. CBS might have hold the decision to greenlight a new season for now, together with their new shows as well. For now, people will just have to re-watch "Supergirl" season one until news comes out about the new season and its release date.
