Kardashian Sisters Sued For $180 Million Over Makeup Line

The Kardashian sisters are facing a multi-million lawsuit. The lawsuit was filed by Hillair Capital Management due to the fact that Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian failed to promote their make-up line, "Kardashian Beauty."

Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian were slammed with a multi-million dollar lawsuit. According to Gossip Cop's report, the Kardashian sisters were sued by Hillair Capital Management. It was mentioned that the Kardashians failed to promote their makeup line, "Kardashian Beauty," which Hillair invested on amounting to $10 million.

The Kardashian siblings previously partnered with Boldface in 2012 as they originally named the beauty products "Kardashian Khroma." As their contract progressed, the Kardashians were forced to change the name of the beauty line to "Kardashian Beauty" due to copyright issues. Boldface was then bought by Hillair in 2014 after it went bankrupt.

In addition to the Kardashian lawsuit, TMZ added that the Kardashian sisters can possibly be fined around $200 million for not following the agreement in terms of marketing their beauty product. Hillair wants to have their $10 million investment back and the Kardashian sisters to pay them the amount of what they could have earned it they earnestly promoted "Kardashian Beauty."

As a response to the lawsuit being filed, Michael Kump, the Kardashian's representative, sent an email to Huffington Post regarding the issue. The Kardashian sister's representative stated that the allegation is entirely false.

"This complaint is an obvious attempt to create leverage by hedge fund operators who took over the Kardashians' cosmetics brand," stated in the email sent to the Huffington Post by Michael Kump. "The Kardashians have suffered enormous damages as a result of the many failures and breaches created by the operator's mismanagement of the company. The lawsuit is a disgrace. It is a jumble of false accusations which will be exposed as lies."
