Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton Engaged: 'Hollaback Girl' Did NOT Propose To Boyfriend

"The Voice" judge Blake Shelton and former judge Gwen Stefani are among the hot items when it comes to celebrity couples. The pair is very open with their relationship. In fact, their romance started from the American reality TV singing competition where they both starred. Are they engaged?

There are rumors that Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are already engaged. Life & Style reported that the "Hollaback Girl" surprised her boyfriend with a marriage proposal and the country singer answered with a "yes."

The magazine notes that the proposal happened after a lavish dinner that Gwen Stefani prepared for Blake Shelton. She then popped the question to her less than a year beau who never turned her down.

"She had been talking to friends about reversing roles and popping the question to Blake for weeks now, but she was still nervous," one insider said.

Stefani was reportedly very happy and in love with her new love who saved her following her heartbreaking divorce. In fact, a number of songs in her new album titled "This Is what The Truth Feels Like" are about her new romance.

"[Blake] is so glad she surprised him - that's what he loves about her!" added the insider. "Blake has done some 'almost' proposals since they started dating last year. They have had long, romantic walks on their trips to Oklahoma, and they have talked a lot about marriage, but there hadn't been a formal proposal until now."

Although many would love to see Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani on the altar, their wedding is not happening anytime soon.

Gossip Cop debunked the reports claiming that Gwen Stefani proposed to Shake Belton. It suggested that the publication is not reliable, the same publication reported earlier that the couple is already over.

Gwen Stefani's rep also denied the rumors, saying that the proposal was not true at all.
