Dr. Martens, Cartoon Network Collaboration: Footwear Brand Adds 'Adventure Time' BMO, Princess Bubblegum-Inspired Boots

Dr. Martens collaborated with Cartoon Network to create a different kind of shoe collection inspired by the animated series, "Adventure Time." Dr. Martens has been doing "Adventure Time"-based boots for three years now and the latest addition to the 2016 spring line are the characters of BMO and Princess Bubblegum.

BMO is inspired by the "Adventure Time" stars Finn and Jake's living "video game console-shaped robot" with the same name. Dr. Martens' BMO is designed with the same color of Finn and Jake's electronic friend.

Dr. Martens' BMO, too, has embroidered game console keys on the toe area and a smiling BMO square pad placed on the shoe's tongue, the lace keeper. Dr. Martens' BMO is made with a canvas material and the signature Dr. Martens' air-cushioned sole that gives comfort and durability since 1960.

Dr. Martens' BMO is well-stitched, has a manmade sole and a "Goodyear-welted" built, according to Comic Book. Aside from BMO, Dr. Martens also have a Princess Bubblegum-inspired boots.

Footwear News reports that Dr. Martens' Princess Bubblegum has bigger pink eyelets compared to the usual Dr. Martens boots. Dr. Martens' Princess Bubblegum also has wider, satin pink laces and different faces for each toe.

Also, Marceline will have a new shoe style full of her image. The all-new boot canvas will have a grey-based with an overall print of Marceline, red eyelets and purple stitched and laces.

BMO, Princess Bubblegum and Marceline-inspired boots are now available at Dr. Martens' stores, retail and online partners starting on March 1. Dr. Martens' kid's size has a starting price of $80 to $115; junior's size is $130 to $150 while the adult's size is also from $130 to $150.

"Adventure Time" is an animated series on Cartoon Network featuring the tale of Finn facing the evils of the Land of Ooo with his dog, Jake. Princess Bubblegum is one of the main characters while Marceline is the half-demon, half-human, over 1000-year-old guitarist and rocker vampire.
