'Star Wars Battlefront' News & Update: DLC Bug Problem Finally Solved; 'Star Wars Battlefront' VR To Showcase Sony's VR Power

A lot of players of "Star Wars Battlefront" will be happy to know that the popular video game will be coming to Sony's PlayStation Virtual Reality headset. "Star Wars Battlefront" will probably be the first video game to be using the highly awaited Sony Virtual Reality headset.

According to an interview by Fortune magazine with Sony's PlayStation Marketing VP John Keller, they are planning to create a special "Star Wars Battlefront" Virtual Reality Headset. This will not only showcase the video game itself but as well as how particularly stunning and good the Sony PlayStation Virtual Reality Headset will be.

Furthermore, John Keller believes that "Star Wars Battlefront" is the best videogame that can showcase the power of Sony's PlayStation Virtual Reality Headset. "Battlefront is going to be one of those games that will really show gamers what it means to be in the world of VR," he said. "It's very special. And just by the nature of being designed for a VR experience, it's going to be very different than the PlayStation 4 game."

John Keller also claims that the launch of Sony's PlayStation Virtual Reality headset will closely come along with "Star Wars Battlefront". "Star Wars is a great example of something that we will really own during that launch period," he said. "But over time there will be games that launch, where we've been helping with the development process, that will be most special on PlayStation VR, whether it's exclusive [to PlayStation VR] or not."

In other news, "Star Wars Battlefront" players faced a bug problem on the 60th level of the video game's "Outer Rim" DLC. However, according to Electronic Arts Studio, "Star Wars Battlefront" creator, the bug has been fixed now. Some players claimed that there are many more things that need to be fixed in the game, which includes credits not showing to be rewarded, unable to level beyond 50, deluxe edition content locked and many more.
