Acer Chromebook Wants To Imitate MacBook Air 2016?

Recent news and updates revealed the speculation of Acer and its product Chromebook. It has been noted that Acer Chromebook has been reported to imitate the MacBook Air 2016 along with its features and other specs.

Although it has not been affirmed yet and there is no striking resemblance as of the moment. The online world is buzzing on that idea alone. According to a report from Information Week, "Acer Tuesday announced a new Chromebook that challenges Apple's MacBook Air, at least as far as the design is concerned. The new, inexpensive laptop is made from aluminum and boasts some impressive specifications for the price."

It stands to reason that since Apple remains silent on the idea of releasing another MacBook into the market, other brands have endeavored to gain the favor of the enthusiasts by releasing a similar product that resembles or surpasses the MacBook Air.

Acer is clearly gunning for those who are envious of Apple's slim laptop, and the Chromebook 14 is a slender notebook that bears more than a passing resemblance to Apple's portable machine, according to the same report.

Meanwhile, Acer revealed that Chromebook 14 has curved corners and brushed with an aluminum finish. It also has integrated more upgrades for its plastic laptops by changing its features. It would also be 13.4 by 9.3 by 0.7 inches. As for its weight, it has been speculated to be within a 3.42 pound markup.

On a different note, in a former report from Game & Guide, since there have not been any direct declaration of another MacBook Air in the market, other products want to fill that void.

The same report added, "Apple has generated much scrutiny as to why Apple remains tight-lipped on the matter and on why even today, the company has not rendered any announcements that could lessen the discomfort and prevent the rumors from escalating."

It remains uncertain on whether Acer Chromebook can fully replace the overall supremacy of the MacBook Air.
